hip_hooray3pm: I got a call from one of the people at the hospital right now (a friend of Elise's who is also an RN, and who works in the same medical system, so he's doing Speaker to Medical Staff duties) that Elise went in for surgery around noon, a little later than originally expected.
He'll be giving me a call when she heads to the recovery room (which will probably be another hour or so), and I'll head over there then.
